In 2005 Morgan won one million dollars on the first reality TV series, through the PROJECT GREENLIGHT Award, which he then used  to make his film, SOLO. The TV Series was a big hit and the end product – the feature film SOLO, with Bojana Novakovic and Colin Friels garnered three FCCA award nominations, including Best Screenplay.  Since moving to Hollywood he has written and directed THE FACTORY, starring John Cusack. It was a grand weekend in Winton, with the 100th year anniversary of Waltzing Matilda on Saturday 6 April, 2013. Bill and Mandaley Perkins to Winton for re-opening of North Gregory.

  Bill Leimbach was invited to the re-opening of the iconic North Gregory Hotel in Winton during the 14th & 15th September. The hotel is being taken over by Clive Kitchen, who has spent considerable time in restoring the hotel, as it holds significant value for Australian history through Banjo Paterson and Waltzing Matilda.
